So Earth Hour was last night here in Auckland. I wasn’t expecting much since the only talk & events seemed to be Christchurch-based. I didn’t think crappy-Auckland would do anything to be honest.

Yes, the Skytower is gone. Apart from that I can only see a couple of small lights missing. The Westfield shopping centre behind me went out as well, but didn’t go on again afterward . .. might have just been a coincidence.
