We left Phoenix pretty early in the day & headed off into the desert

and through border-control into California.

This part of the trip was indeed rather spontaneous. Yep, we walked over the border into Tijuana, Mexico.

Mexico was exciting & vibrant. I wished I had organized a proper visit instead of 2hrs on our way to Orange.

The food! Oh, the food!

They also made a fantastic strawberry margarita.

but alas, we had to return over the border to US soil & keep driving..

to San Diego!

San Diego was a nice city from what we saw. We drove on a few hours though to Orange to stay here a few days. Who knows where we’ll end up next!
